Product Summary:
NWL's AC capacitors are intended for use in resonant circuits, for filtering in voltage stabilizer circuits, or as commutation capacitors in inverters up to 100 kHz range. Voltage and current loading in these applications is non-sinusoidal.
Applications:
NWL's AC Commutation capacitors can be found in Ferro-Resonant Power Supplies, High Frequency SCR applications, Low Voltage Power Supply filters, Coupling and Decoupling applications.

Voltage: 100 to 5000 + VAC.
Tolerance:
Standard tolerance is ± 10%. Lower tolerances are available.
Frequency:
From DC to 100 kHz.
RMS Currents:
Typical rms currents are from 60 to 90 Arms. Designs available up to 1000 Arms.
Peak Currents:
Up to 10,000+ amperes.
Inductance:
Typical less than 90 nH. Custom designs as low as 30 nH.
