The MACCplus Zero-flux™ is a low-cost high precision DC current measuring system, based on the zero-flux principle, for currents up to 600 A. It is equipped with a current output to which the user can connect his own output circuitry. A burden/precision amplifier module can be supplied optionally.
The MACCplus is far simpler and far more effective than conventional measuring systems using shunts or the Hall effect. It is supplied ready for use, fully calibrated and tested. The MACCplus is typically used as a current feed-back element in power supplies or as a replacement for resistive shunts. Applications include nuclear research projects, applied scientific research, industry, medical applications and transport systems.
