Power Electronics has developed into a significant element of PPM Power's portfolio.  With applications in large drives for marine and wind power dominating that growth.

The introduction of the world renowned products of  ABB Semiconductors and the Hall  Effect monitor products from ABB France, gave PPM Power a firm place in this market.  Add to this EBG power resistors, NWL power capacitors and Kanthal high energy resistors, this is just the beginning for PPM Power.

Recently introduced is the Power Electronics design software PLECS, which has proved to be one of most exciting additions.

Products for thermal management will be added to our range in the next few months which will give PPM Power a range of products for Power Electronics, which is second to none.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT - PLECS SIMULATION SOFTWARE

PLECS Power Electronics software is specifically aimed at system level design. It operates as a toolbox within the Simulink environment. Using "ideal switches" and a comprehensive power electronics component library, povides the user with the additional speed to make design changes and review the changes instantly.
