LC1202 series - 12kJ/s (15kW)

ALE Capacitor Charging Power Supply LC1202 Series. 1-30 kV, 12,000J/sec.FEATURES:
  • Repeatability <0.1% at repetition. rates to 1kHz
  • Water Cooled
  • Selectable 208 or 400VAC input
  • Sealed HV Assembly
  • Outputs to 30kV
The LC Series are a new design of compact water cooled power conditioning solutions for high performance HV Capacitor Charging applications requiring extremely low pulse to pulse repeatability. The LC1202 capacitor charging power supply is capable of delivering peak output charge rates of 13.5kJ/sec and average rates of 12kJ/sec. If used for DC applications the unit can continuously deliver 15kW power. The unique phase shifting inverter design enables the supply to charge capacitive loads with shot to shot voltage repeatability of 0.1% or better at repetition rates up to 1kHz.

The LC1202 shares elements of its topology with the XR series, but utilizes a brand new design of water cooled phase shifting resonant inverter. The use of a unique sealed water cooled HV tank assembly results in an 12kJ/second power supply in the same footprint as a standard 8kJ unit. The sealed HV tank also allows the unit to operate in any orientation unlike conventional oil insulated high voltage power supplies. Since the LC series does not require external air for cooling it is particularly suitable for installation in tight spaces, or in adverse environments. Lambda EMI is the only company currently offering this advanced performance in a compact 12kJ/sec water cooled package.
