NEW version 3.1 of PLECS Blockset and PLECS Standalone!!
IMMEDIATE RELEASE of version 3.1 of PLECS Blockset and PLECS Standalone!! PLECS Blockset has become the tool of choice for high-speed simulations of power electronic systems in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. Recently, PLECS Standalone was introduced as an independent simulation platform. In version 3.1, both editions have been enhanced with exciting new features: - Steady-state and AC analysis in PLECS Standalone These powerful analysis tools are now also included in PLECS Standalone. They allow you to quickly determine the periodic operating point or the frequency response of a switching power circuit.
- New control blocks in the PLECS library PWM generators and transport delays can be used directly in a PLECS schematic. This makes modeling of control systems more efficient and flexible.
- Fourier spectrum and XY plot
For any periodic signal displayed in the PLECS scope, the user can plot a Fourier spectrum at the push of a button. The XY plot lets you display the relationship between two signals.
- Advanced machines models
The synchronous machines and the saturable induction machine offer a voltage-behind-reactance implementation that permits open-circuited stator windings. Customers under software maintenance will automatically receive new license files for version 3.1. For further information contact sales@ppm.co.uk.
